I don't have any kids so I'm not exactly sure what makes them tick these days. It seems to me, though, growing up in the seventies, that we spent a lot more time outside playing than kids do today. There certainly wasn't any need for fat camps run by multi-millionaire basketball players. And tv for kids was a lot better. The Electric Company was my favorite. No wonder I like to read.

My all time favorite kid's show! We need Easy Reader now more than ever.
So true. I was too young watching this show to realize how cool and revolutionary it was. I watch it now on dvd and sing along, indulging in nostalgia. Such a pleasure.
